My name is Alicia Schwede and I have been a floral designer for 20+ years now. My foray into floral design began with a 6 week long class at College of San Mateo in 1998 – something I signed up for on a whim while looking for an artistic outlet with no idea it would lead me down a new career path. (previously worked in software development in San Francisco)

In 2003 I started my wedding focused floral design studio – Bella Fiori – in Denver, Colorado. In 2010 I launched a floral industry blog called Flirty Fleurs. 2011 brought the release of my floral design book – Bella Bouquets.  It was around that time that I began hosting floral design classes – I absolutely love sharing my love of flowers with others!

My husband and I relocated to Washington State in 2014 and in the Spring of 2022 I opened my teaching studio in the quaint town of Snohomish.. Be sure to visit the Snohomish page here on the website as this adorable town has so much to offer!
