By registering for an event and/or class at Fleurs Creative you signify your acceptance of and obligation to these Terms, Conditions and Liability Disclaimer. If you have objections to any of the following you should not register.

Photography Clause: I allow Fleurs Creative, (Flirty Fleurs / Alicia Schwede) to use photos from this event which may include attendees. Photos may be featured on our websites, social media, and other publications.

 

Cancellation Policy:

We ask that before you sign up for a class or event with us that you please check your schedule and make sure you are able to make the class you sign up for. All workshops and events and non-refundable. Your class space can be transferred to another person.

Refunds are permitted within 24 hours of purchase, minus a 3% processing fee.

After 24 hours if you are unable to make your class or event we ask that you reach via email to ask about rescheduling  or canceling your reservation your reservation.

Please note – no refunds are rescheduling is allowed for any of the classes with less than 3 days notice. For the larger events with guest instructors we must receive any requests to change a reservation at least one week in advance. You can send another person in your place if you are unable to attend the class.

FORCE MAJEURE. Fleurs Creative and it’s affiliates will not be liable for any failure or delay in performing an obligation under this Agreement that is due to any of the following causes, to the extent beyond its reasonable control: acts of God, including both natural and man-made events, accident, riots, war, terrorist act, epidemic, pandemic (including the COVID-19 pandemic), quarantine, civil commotion, breakdown of communication facilities, breakdown of web host, breakdown of internet service provider, natural catastrophes, governmental acts or omissions, changes in laws or regulations, national strikes, fire, explosion, or generalized lack of availability of raw materials or energy.

Covid-19 Policy

  • We follow all current guidelines/rules that include mask-wearing, hand-sanitizing and social distancing.
  • For the safety and comfort of the instructors and the attendees, we are requiring proof of vaccination and ID to attend our in-person workshops. Please make sure to bring either your vaccination card or photo of the card as proof.
  • If you have had symptoms of covid or if you have been in close contact with someone with covid in the past 14 days, you will need a negative covid test to attend class. If you are sick, please stay home. Thank you for your help in keeping all of us healthy!

Release of Liability:

I understand, acknowledge, and agree that my participation in a floral design class involves inherent risks. These risks, which have been made aware to me, include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Risks of cutting, scratching, impaling, or other injury from sharp cutting devices. Participation in floral design classes will involve using sharp cutting devices including shears, scissors, clippers, wire cutters, and knives.
  • Participation in the workshop may involve carrying heavy buckets, branches, tools, and other objects of awkward size.
  • Participation in the workshop may involve working with hot glue, hot glue pans and guns.

I assume full responsibility for the risks associated with and arising out of the Workshop, including injury to myself and my property. I agree that my safety is primarily my own responsibility.

I agree to listen to and follow all written and oral instructions and rules given by the Host. I agree to refrain from all actions that may pose a hazard to myself or others. I agree that my participation in the Workshop may cease if the Host determines that my conduct is unsafe to myself, the Host, or other participants.

Indemnification-Attendee agrees that the Hosts will not be liable for any damage done by attendee to public/private property during set-up, tear down, and regular and after official event operation hours. This includes the operation of any equipment (motorized or non-motorized).The attendee understands that the event agenda, proposed speakers, and event activities are not guaranteed and are subject to change at the sole discretion of the Hosts.

I agree that any dispute that may arise out of the Workshop shall be resolved by friendly negotiation between the parties. If the dispute is not resolved through negotiation, I agree that any legal or equitable claim that may arise out of my participation in the Workshop shall be resolved under the law of the State of Washington under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Snohomish County.

If any provision of this Release of Liability, whether standing alone or as applied in a particular circumstance, is found to be unlawful by any court of competent jurisdiction, such a finding shall not affect the enforceability of any other provision of this Release of Liability, which shall remain fully enforceable.

By clicking on the check box on class registration page I am acknowledging this agreement, I agree to hold the Host entirely free from any liability, including financial responsibility for injuries incurred, regardless of whether injuries are caused by negligence of the Host or other Workshop participants. I release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue the Host from and against any and all liabilities, demands, claims, or injuries that I may sustain during or in conjunction with the Workshop.

I have read and understand the terms of this Release of Liability and agree to its terms. I understand that by agreeing to this Release of Liability, I waive certain legal rights.
