A workshop where we create fall wreaths and decorate cute pumpkins is the perfect way to welcome in the Autumn season!
Locally grown flowers and foliages have been dried over the past few weeks in preparation for this creative workshop at our studio in Snohomish. The finished wreaths and pumpkins will last all fall season long, perfect for decorating at home!
Supporting our guests in their creative pursuits is what makes our hearts sing at Fleurs Creative! As always, our classes are small groups, lots of personalized attention and oh-so-many flowers!
Compote Centerpieces — this is the larger of the two floral arrangements. These arrangements are designed in an elevated, footed vessel. The flowers and foliages tend to spill over the edges of the vessel creating a very lush, garden inspired design.
Garden Gems Centerpieces — these floral arrangements are designed in glass vases. The look for these arrangements tends to be more rounded and textures are highlighted. Overall they are smaller in size compared to the Compote Centerpiece, however, they are still a good size to sit on a dining table and lush and full. I’ve dubbed this class as the ‘Garden Gems Series’ as it is an ongoing monthly class I’m offering on the schedule.
In both of these classes a lovely selection of fresh, seasonal, as locally grown as possible flowers will be provided. Because I select flowers from my cutting garden and neighboring flower farmers the color palette tends to vary week-to-week as the garden follows mother nature’s lead. In both classes the vessels, a pair of flower snips, all foliages and flowers are includes, along with a box to carry home your finished piece.
Both classes are open to all levels of floral design experience and are great for the home gardener who would like to learn how to arrange garden blooms.
A few times a year I like to transform the teaching studio into a botanical day dream, my idea of a perfect place to be!
On July 30th, 2022 the Summer Market bloomed at the studio. One of the hottest days of the year, our visitors were happy to step inside the botanical day dream with cooling air conditioning. Here they found plants – echinacea and coleus, fresh & dried bouquets, prints & postcards, flower frogs & floristry tools, botanical books, vessels & vases.
It’s eclectic, it’s fun, and full of little treasures.
Visit the “Shop the Market” page for information on upcoming Market Dates.
The month of June brings us peonies and garden roses, two of our favorite flowers to create gorgeous floral arrangements!
We gathered together complementary flowers – viburnum, stock, freesia, astrantia, and delicious foliages for this super fabulous floral design class!
The Garden Gems class series is a great one for gardeners who would like to learn more about designing with garden grown flowers.
