a three day floral design workshop

Create, learn, and explore your creative side as you try your hand at designing woodland inspired centerpieces, bridal bouquets, large scale arrangements, and botanical jewelry – to name a few of what we’ll be creating at this unique workshop.
This is a one-of-a-kind workshop where you’ll push the boundaries, learn valuable mechanics, delve into the art of floral design and have lots of fun!
These two talented floral artists are joining forces to share their diverse styles in a three day workshop. Attendees will be immersed in each artist’s unique vision in a way that will encourage the discovery of your own unique style. No matter what your personal style is, you will learn valuable mechanics and skills from two seasoned teachers.
The workshop is being hosted at Alicia’s design studio Fleurs Creative in downtown Snohomish on April 6, 7, 8, 2022. Over the three days attendees will engage in hands-on instruction with both instructors, learning techniques for flower care, color distribution, and mechanics.
What is Included:
• Three days of hands-on instruction including personal time with each instructor. Explanation for why the instructors make each choice and which mechanics that are the best practice for the techniques being demonstrated so that the skills learned are easily transferable to the each attendees unique design style.
• A limited number of spaces (6) will be offered so that each participant will have time to have meaningful interaction with each instructor. Feel free to ask about anything floral or business related during down time.
• All flowers, foliages, and containers used will be provided. You may keep every arrangement and wearable art piece that you create.
• Lifelong friendships and community. Participants may decide what contact information and social media accounts they would like to share with the group so that everyone can stay in touch.
• Continental breakfast and a catered lunch each day.
Where:
The workshop will take place at Alicia’s design studio Fleurs Creative located in downtown historic Snohomish. Plenty of free parking surrounds the studio, plus so many fun restaurants and shops to visit!

Make an investment in yourself by attending the FUSION | Flowers + Art workshop! We will be sharing tips and techniques that took us many years to learn. By the end of the workshop, you will gain tremendous confidence in your abilities. You will benefit greatly from two instructors who are extremely passionate about what we do, we want to share what we have learned with you and watch you grow!
What is not included:
• You will be responsible for all travel arrangement to get to the Workshop (including airfare and car rental/train fare/etc.).
• Accommodations are not included. We suggest checking out AirBnB or VRBO listings for the surrounding area.

Cancellation policy:
The FUSION | Flowers + Art team reserves the right to cancel the workshop if there are less than four (4) attendees. In the unlikely event that the workshop is cancelled all registration fees will be refunded within 90 days.
COVID-19 policy:
We are so looking forward to welcoming you to our workshop and design space and would like to remind you of our covid policy. For the safety and comfort of the instructors and the attendees, we are requiring proof of vaccination and ID to attend our in-person workshop. Please make sure to bring either your vaccination card or photo of the card as proof. If you have had symptoms of covid or if you have been in close contact with someone with covid in the past 14 days, you will need a negative covid test to attend class. If you are sick, please stay home. Thank you for your help in keeping all of us healthy!
The Schedule Of The Day: Thursday, April 7th
Start Time: 8:30 Gather for coffee, tea, and treats.
Morning Session: Françoise will lead the group in how to create a framed botanical art piece. This stately design can be hung on your wall!
Lunch Time: Enjoy a catered lunch
Afternoon Session: Alicia will lead a design session where we will delve into creating a larger floral design with creative mechanics.
Day Concludes at approximately 5pm
The Schedule Of The Day: Friday, April 8th
Start Time: 8:30 Gather for coffee, tea, and treats
Morning Session: Ask the Experts! Get your pens & notepads ready as we’ll start the day with a business session. Your instructors spill the beans on anything that you want to know (almost). Session will last for an hour from 9-10am.
10:00 am: time to get back to designing! Françoise and Alicia will share a variety of looks and mechanics to create floral fascinators and botanical jewelry — a variety of bracelets, necklaces, flower combs, halos, rings – if you can wear it we’ll show you how to make it!. After we share all kinds of botanical inspiration the attendees can create to their heart’s content!
Lunch Time: Enjoy a catered lunch
Afternoon Session: Continue with creating Botanical Wearables is the plan for our afternoon — get ready to have fun and try your hand at creating a variety of botanical wearables!
Day Concludes at approximately 5pm, closing conversation, gratitude and send off
