Workshop :: Large Vase Arrangement

Join us for a large vase arrangement floral design class!

These arrangements measure over 3′ tall, including the vase – perfect to use as altar pieces at weddings, foyer entry tables, buffet tables at parties, and more!

A large scale arrangement like this can be intimitading at first – how to structure the mechanics and how many flowers and foliages to use. Alicia will lead a demonstration on how to start this design and how to layer the flowers and foliages to create a full and lush arrangement. Students will have a lovely assortment of fresh seasonal flowers and foliages to create their own designs – yes, students can take home the arrangement, including the large footed vase.

Who is this class best suited for: Florists who work in flower shops and want to create larger arrangements, floral designers who design weddings and would like to create large vase arrangements for altar pieces at weddings, foyer and buffet arrangements, those who like to create large arrangements of flowers for their church, garden enthusiasts who like to decorate their homes with flowers from their cutting gardens.

Time: 10am to Noon/1pm (this class will take at least 2 hours, but please plan on spending 3 hours as it can take awhile to complete this large floral design.)
