Introduction to Floral Design
Curious about how to create a floral centerpiece? This is the perfect class to start with — it is taught in a step-by-step fashion. First “mechanics” are introduced, then how to “green” a vase, next the flowers to use to create a design.

Garden Gems Arrangements
Vase arrangements overflowing with luscious, seasonal flowers. First we start with a talk on mechanics and then create beautiful flower arrangements.

Compote Centerpieces
Compote styled centerpieces are a fabulous floral design to celebrate all the seasons! Tulips in the spring, Peonies in May, Dahlias in the fall, Poinsettias in December! A footed vessel is utilized to create a larger sized arrangement.

Large Vase Arrangement
Create a lush arrangement in a large glass vase, filled with a lovely selection of seasonal flowers. This style is great for wedding decor or for the gardener who would like to bring more flowers indoors.

A Walk In The Garden
A sweet floral design where the flowers appear to be growing in a garden. This arrangement is a “long & low” design where groupings and pops of flowers create a lovely design.
Halos & Crowns Class
In this hands-on design class we’ll review ways to construct flower halos, crowns, wreaths, and combs – if you can wear it in your hair or on your head we will talk about it!!
Woodland Botanicals
Are you drawn to all the natural wonders here in the PNW? Create a texture box filled with a fascinating assortment of mosses, lichen, seed pods, delicate flowers, branches, and more. These fine little designs are so interesting when completed, they will beckon a closer look from viewers.
Inspired by the Dutch Master Painters
In this special floral design class we will explore how the art work of the Dutch Master Painters continues to inspire floral designers with light, colors, movement, and textures.
Curly Willow Branch Structures
A floral design class focused on the use of Curly Willow Branches as a mechanic to build flower arrangements!

Bridal Bouquet Designing & Pricing
A hands-on workshop where you will learn how to design lush hand-tied bouquets AND how to price them! If your goal is to sell wedding flowers then learning how to price correctly is important for the success of your business.
2 Bouquets, 2 Ways
We will begin the class with discussing and designing the timeless European hand-tied bouquet with perfectly spiraled stems.
Next we will design the asymetrical styled bouquet which is all the rage for weddings these days and often seen showcased on Instagram. For the asymetrical styled bouquet I will share how to create a natural material armature to use as the base of this bouquet.
DIY Wedding Workshop
In this hands-on design class we’ll create a bouquet, boutonniere, and centerpiece. Plus, discuss sourcing flowers, care & handling, and transporting flowers to your venue.
Corsage & Boutonniere Class
Beautiful things often come in small packages! In this floral design class we will work on creating the little works of art that are boutonnieres and corsages! Solid mechanics are imperative for creating boutonnieres and corsages that will last a full wedding day.
Arch & Chuppah Workshop
In this hands-on Floral Arch & Chuppah Workshop we will work together to create two arches & and two chuppahs. We’ll have a lot of flowers on hand, and will work on different techniques for building chuppahs and floral arches.
Mother’s Day
Whether you are a beginner or have some experience, this class is perfect for anyone who loves flowers and wants to celebrate Mother’s Day in a unique and beautiful way.
Dahlia Delights
As summer moves into fall we are blessed with the abundance of dahlias here in the PNW. Dahlias come in a variety of colors and shapes and are fabulous for floral designs.

Pumpkin Spice
Our take on the season’s Pumpkin Spice, join us to fill a pretty pumpkin full of spicy hued flowers! ‘Tis the season to partake in all things pumpkin related!

Wedding Intensive Workshop
Join Alicia for an intensive workshop focused on elements of floral arrangements most often needed for wedding celebrations. Designs included are bouquets, centerpieces, altar arrangements, installations, boutonnieres & corsages.
Typically scheduled once per year.
